I found a book on Ned Harris glassware on Amazon.com, so I do know that his work is from the 50’s-60’s. The book is called “designed and signed” by Leslie Pina. Sells for 29.95.
It does seem to be collectible.

Go to an antique dealer they can tell you a lot about the class and the name, or to a crystal dealer.

I think it’s fine, though popular opinion here does not agree. You can customize honeymoon registries all sorts of different ways, keeping the categories general or specifying different costs for different events (ie, $50 bike rental on the pier, $100 snorkel sail excursion, $25 1-hour couples golf lesson, etc). I know I’d rather buy a couple a fun event than what is probably their 3rd crock pot.

Besides, things are just things. Memories are priceless.

very tacky…..im not going to donate money to your vacation. if you cant afford a honeymoon on your own, then dont have one.

If you do a search on Yahoo Answers on “honeymoon registries” you’ll see that about 90% of people are against them. Do you want to risk offending 90% of your guests?

In areas where registries are accepted, I don’t see why this type of registry would not be.

I suggest that you don’t register for anything at all. Guests will most likely give you cash. You can use that cash towards a honeymoon. But you may not formally request that guests fund your honeymoon.

The honeymoon registry is debatable, as you can see by other responses. I think it’s fine since a registry is only a suggestion. If guests don’t like the idea of gifting you with honeymoon activities then they can choose something else. Registries are only suggestions. But, I’d register also with places like Home Depot where most anyone can use something from that type of store. If someone asks you can certainly let them know that you have a honeymoon registry. However, this registry should never be used for the bridal shower since you must have a tangible gift to open.
